Why do people act like players like Favre and Chad Johnson were never great?
Let me say that I understand (sort-of) why people don't like players like Favre and Chad Ocho-Johnson. But you must be either really young or dumb to pretend that they were never great. Brett owns every QB record and has buried them. He has thrown alot of picks too, but not at an exceptionally high percentage. He has just thrown a ton of passes in his career. He went to 2 superbowls, won one and constantly had his team in the post season conversation. Chad Johnson has over 10,000 yards receiving, and in his prime, he led the AFC in yards a record 4 consecutive times. That was with guys like Marvin Harrison, Hines Ward, Jimmy Smith etc in the same conference. Hate on the way they act, but you can't deny that they were great players.
