What can i use for this cake i am making?

hey guys. do yall know them duncan hines box cake mixes? well thats what im making. im making the classic yellow one but im trying to make it healthier and it say on the box to do that then in place of the 1/3 cup of vegetable oil to use 1/3 cup of unsweetened applesauce. i dont have unsweetened applesauce and i really really dont wanna use the oil. so what can i use when i dont and cant use either of those too? ( by the way the cake will have chocolate icing if that helps with anything...my dad just likes the regular taste of a classic yellow cake, nothing different) please help. thanks guys :)
